Why Trucking Matters

The Most Common Place a Shipment Goes Wrong

Most freight problems don't happen on the ocean or in the air. They happen at the truck stage — at the factory pickup that didn't arrive on time, at the port drayage that missed the vessel cutoff, at the last-mile delivery that couldn't find the warehouse appointment slot. International forwarders who don't actually control trucking lose vessel space, miss FBA appointment windows, and pay demurrage they then pass back to the shipper.

We treat trucking as the spine of every shipment, not an afterthought. Origin trucks are dispatched against the booked vessel/flight cutoff, not "soonest possible." Drayage chassis are pre-allocated at peak season ports. Last-mile carriers are vetted on appointment adherence, not just rate.

Destination Last-Mile

From Port of Arrival to Your Receiver's Dock

Once cargo clears customs at the destination port or airport, the final-mile truck is what closes the loop. We have partner trucker networks vetted on three things: appointment adherence, claim ratio, and electronic POD. We don't book "cheapest trucker on the load board" — that's how cargo arrives 4 hours late at an FBA dock and gets refused.

  • USACoast-to-coast FTL, drayage at LA/LB, Oakland, Houston, NYC/NJ, Savannah, Norfolk. FBA appointment booking. ELD-compliant carriers.
  • Europe & UKEU-wide FTL/LTL from Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Piraeus. AMZN FBA UK/DE/FR/IT/ES delivery.
  • AustraliaSydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide. AQIS-compliant trucking, residential surcharge handled separately.
  • CanadaVancouver, Toronto, Montreal drayage and inland FTL.

Why Trucking Quality Matters

Four Quiet Cost-Killers Most Shippers Don't See

Every one of these comes from cutting corners on the truck leg.

Missed Vessel Cutoffs

Your container arrives at the port 2 hours after the vessel cutoff = roll to next sailing = 7+ day delay = downstream chaos. We monitor cutoffs in real time and dispatch trucks accordingly.

💸

Demurrage & Detention

Containers sitting at the port past free time accrue daily charges (often $200–500/day). Pre-arranged drayage chassis prevents this.

📅

Missed FBA Appointments

Amazon FBA appointment slots are non-negotiable. Late = rebooked 7+ days out = Q4 sell-through lost. We treat FBA windows as hard deadlines.

No Loading Documentation

Damage claims fail without before/after photos. We require photo POD on every pickup — factory loading photos, sealed truck photos, delivery POD.

FAQ

Trucking & Drayage Questions, Answered

Do you pick up from any factory in China?

Yes — any factory in mainland China. Pickup typically scheduled 24–48 hours after booking confirmation. Same-day or next-day pickup possible in Guangdong, Shanghai and Zhejiang at a surcharge.

What's the difference between FTL and LTL?

FTL = Full Truck Load (entire truck dedicated). LTL = Less than Truck Load (consolidated with other shippers, pay only for space used). FTL is cheaper per CBM above ~12 CBM; LTL wins below.

Do you handle container drayage?

Yes — at all major Chinese ports (Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin, Xiamen) and at destination ports worldwide. We pre-allocate chassis at peak season to avoid free-time expiry.

How fast can you arrange a truck pickup?

24–48 hours standard. Same-day available in major coastal cities. Remote provinces (Xinjiang, Tibet, inner Mongolia) need 3–5 days.

Do trucks include loading help?

Tail-lift trucks where requested. Loading labor typically done by factory's own staff; dedicated crew can be arranged for an extra fee.

Can you handle oversized or project cargo?

Yes. Flatbed (high & low), low-bed trailer, and crane-truck arrangements for machinery, prefab modules, and heavy industrial cargo. Route survey and permit handling included.

Do you offer reefer (temperature-controlled) trucking?

Yes — both for origin trucking in China and last-mile in major destinations. Continuous temperature logging available on request.
